中国模协将召开会议，中国模协有关专业委员会将组织交流、研讨会、详见随后通知。
技术交流会：建议展商在展览会期间举行相关产品的技术、解决方案案例的交流会。每场技交会（约2小时）收费5,000-7,000元人民币，供支付技交会会场及有关设备费用。

尽管受到全球金融危机的影响，2009年中国模具销售额仍达到980亿元人民币，模具出口额连续两年在19亿美元左右，有些产品已接近或达到国际水平，中国模具工业仍保持增长态势；中国模具进口在连续4年20亿美元后，2009仍保持19.64亿美元,国内需求旺盛。中国的模具制造技术水平继续在精密加工、敏捷制造等方面发展，智能管理技术在未来的2011、2012年也将被企业重视。随着中国内需的拉动，以及中国模具在国际模具采购中具有性价比的优势，可以预计中国模具工业仍会有较大增长。这些因素都将使中国对先进加工制造设备、先进制造软件、先进制造刀具等的需求愈加旺盛。随着模具企业产业链的延伸，采购精密塑料机械、数控锻压设备也逐年增加。
